BRAND IDENTITY – THE AUSPICIOUS TYPE
Objective: To create an exciting identity, and creative brand for my graphic design business.
Approach: Auspicious: giving or being a sign of future success: they said it was an auspicious
moon—it was rising. Enjoying the name/symbol/type relationship of a play on words I developed a monogram logo. The typographical characters reversed within blocks of retro colours refers to the printed type of the press and of the past. Colours and the monogram glyph allow for graphical play with shapes and forms throughout.
